The abundant sunshine over Burcham Park might have been read as a good omen. Kinch and other local officials were there to announce the first of two solar parks in the Lansing Board of Water and Light’s service area.
In The News: Community Solar Parks to be Developed in Cities of East Lansing and Lansing
Officials from the Lansing Board of Water & Light (BWL), City of East Lansing and City of Lansing announced plans today to build the first community solar parks in BWL’s service territory. The announcement was held at East Lansing’s Burcham Park, a retired landfill site and the proposed location of the first of the two community solar developments.
